Walpole St Peter Church is hosting VE Day celebration and Spring market
Community events are coming to a village church for two weeks of activities.
Walpole St Peter Church is hosting two events next month, including a market and celebrations for VE Day.
From Saturday, May 3 to Sunday 11, there will be VE Day celebrations and an exhibition daily from 10am-4pm.
Visitors can expect to see a collection of local and national information, stories and pictures from VE Day to commemorate the end of the war in Europe.
On Monday, May 5, there will be free drinks and cakes for those who go along.
Taking place on Saturday, May 17, is a spring market from 10am-4pm.
On the day, there will be a vibrant collection of market stalls, books, games, food, gifts and much more.
Refreshments will be available, and there will be a barbecue between 11am and 2pm.
Everything is indoors, so there is no need to worry about the weather.
Both events are free entry, there is free parking and dogs on leads are welcome.
