Tydd St Giles Golfers host various competitions

Tydd St Giles Golf Club hosted a fourball betterball competition.

A belated competition had to be reorganised because of bad weather. Organiser and handicap secretary Gino Ciuffini thanked all for taking part.

The day saw new men's club captain Graham Barritte presenting trophies to the winners.

Ciuffini also reminded everyone that competition entry fees for 2025 would cover £1000 awarded to the greenkeepers to spend on any improvements to the course this year.

Results: 1 Jonathan Hubbard, Mark Whittaker, Michael Ewing, and J Morais 107 points on countback, 2 John Martin, Gino Ciuffini, Ken Doughty and Luke Stanford 107pts, 3 Wayne Alder, Clive Barber, Tim Page, and Oliver Ewing 105pts.

Ciuffini was pleased to donate £100 to the new club captain's charity pot.
