Ex-England Test cricket player Geoff Miller was guest speaker at March Town Cricket Club annual dinner
Former England Test player and national selector Geoff Miller was the guest speaker at March Town Cricket Cub's 35th annual dinner.
Held at the Pavilion last Friday night, the dinner was the club's first annual dinner since lockdown in March 2020.
Geoff, who is known to be one of the best after-dinner speakers on the circuit, entertained the audience with stories from his two-decade playing career.
He recalled memories with the likes of England legends Sir Ian Botham and Sir Geoffrey Boycott.
Geoff played 34 Test matches and 25 one-day internationals for his country.
Geoff also took questions from members and guests, where he gave his views on the current state of the England team after their disappointing results down under and in the Caribbean.
Everybody in attendance enjoyed the evening and Geoff's speech.
