Berlin, Brighton and Rutland among the destinations for March athletes
March Athletics Club members have recently participated in major races, showcasing their dedication and impressive performances.
From personal bests at prestigious marathons to inspiring comebacks and successful returns from injury, runners have been achieving their goals across the globe.
Firstly, James Arran delivered a strong performance at the Brighton Marathon, finishing with a personal best time of 4:17:12.
After months of intense training, Arran's commitment was rewarded in the race. Kanina O'Neil achieved an impressive time of 1:24:42 at the Berlin Half Marathon.
Carole and Gary Davis also participated in the event, completing the race in 2:13:00 showing their strong teamwork in the event.
Andrew Fovargue finished the Rutland Spring Half Marathon in 2 hours and 10 minutes, marking another step on his amazing comeback this year as he leaps from strength to strength each week ahead of big races in the Summer.
Michelle Fovargue, following an injury, made a great return.
She completed the half marathon in 3 hours and 46 minutes, walking her way back to full strength.
The club's Mark Pegler was at the Haughley Festival 10k.
The event is a challenging off-road zig-zag running event featuring hilly terrain.
Despite the tough conditions, Pegler completed the race in 1:04:45, demonstrating both endurance and resilience while enjoying beautiful weather throughout the event
