Huge three days for March Town with play-off semi and then a cup final

March Town face a huge few days as they look to secure their first piece of silverware of the season and progress to the play-off final.

The Hares will play third-place Rugby Borough away in the United Counties League Premier South play-off semi-final on Sunday.

Two days later, Ash Taylor’s men are back in action again when they contest the Cambridgeshire Invitational Cup final against Ely City at the home of Cambridge City.

Assistant boss Simon Roberts said: "We went to Rugby with a bit of a depleted side in the league and deserved to draw. It will be a tough game as they've started to find a bit of form again. They've got home advantage, but we know we can beat anyone on our day and we've already shown that this season.

"I know the lads will give it their all and then we've got the cup final two days later, so there's plenty to play for."

Should they triumph in Sunday's play-off semi-final, the Hares will meet the winner of the game between second-place Aylestone Park and fifth-place Eynesbury Rovers in the final.
