Crucial games at either end of their tables for March Town and Wisbech Town

A win tomorrow could all but guarantee Wisbech Town’s United Counties Premier North safety - but a defeat could leave them in a relegation dogfight.

The Fenmen have 35 points and are currently six points clear of the drop zone with three games remaining. Tomorrow they entertain fifth-place Heanor Town, who need a win themselves to stay in the play-off places.

With Shirebrook Town already relegated, 19th-place Kimberley Miners Welfare, who occupy the final relegation place with 29 points, travel to play 11th-place Skegness Town.

In a real relegation six-pointer, on-form Gresley Rovers, who are 18th with 31 points, travel to 16th-place Sleaford Town, who have 33 points. And 17th-place Deeping Rangers, also on 33 points, entertain Shirebrook.

Over in United Counties Premier South, March Town go into their final three games with a tough home fixture against eighth-place Daventry Town.

The Hares are six points clear of the pack chasing the play-offs and could secure their place in the knockout stages if results go their way, but Daventry have a game in hand and could still reach the top five themselves.

There’s nothing to play for in the remaining Thurlow Nunn First Division North for Parson Drove and Whittlesey Athletic, apart from finishing as high as they possibly can.

With three games remaining, Drove will be looking to make it six games undefeated when they entertain third-place Harwich & Parkeston, who have already secured a play-off place. Whittlesey, who have two fixtures to play, are without a game.
