This year’s bowls event sponsored by Bridge Insurance Services, Wisbech

CMB BC held their annual Les Howard Memorial Trophy for the 17th time to raise funds for the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech.

With the entry fee, raffle and a generous donation from Newton BC of £50, a total of £374 was raised and will be presented at a later date.

This year’s event was kindly sponsored by Lyn and Cliff Humphreys of Bridge Insurance Services Wisbech, who provided the trophies.

Dale and Lewis Parnell beat Mel Joyce and Andy McEwan in the first semi and in the second Stuart Woodcock and Tony Reed beating Jane Clifton and Sandra Chandler in very close games. The final was won by Stuart and Reed against the Parnells.
