Tydd Gote Angling Club's Andrew Kilby bags impressive weights at March

Tydd Gote Angling Club on an away day fished their Sunday club match on the 20 Foot at Shepperson’s Bridge in March and produced some impressive leading weights.

Out in front from a peg two down from the bridge was Andrew Kilby (pictured) with some quality rudd up to a pound caught on waggler tight across on his maggot hook bait.

Andrew boosted his weight with a good tench of nearly 3lb on his worm line for a total of 15lb 6oz. Second, next to the winner and on the end peg, was Rob Wright with a big tench and some rudd and skimmers for 10lb 12oz.

Wednesday Open Main Road: 1 Pete Emery 15lb 8oz, 2 Martin Roper 4lb 4oz, 3 Archie Greenwood 4lb. Thursday Evening Club Match: 1 Paul Bowden 6lb 12oz, 2 Archie Greenwood 4lb 15oz, 3. Jamie Cooper 3lb 6oz.
