Parson Drove beat Norwich CBS in Thurlow Nunn League First Division North
A Toby Allen double helped Parson Drove on their way to a vital win over Norwich CBS last night.
Drove's first home victory of the season couldn't have come at a better time following their loss to Needham Market Reserves on Saturday, who won again against Haverhill Borough on Tuesday evening.
That made the three points even more pivotal for Arran Duke's side, and they delivered at the perfect time.
Danny Setchell found the back of the net in addition to Allen's brace, with the club's Twitter page describing it as a "fantastic team performance".
Drove risked leaving themselves cut adrift at the bottom of the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North standings after the weekend's reversal, with Martin Tudosa’s strike not enough to stop them slipping to their 13th reversal of the season.
However, they will now have renewed hope going into their clash against eighth-placed AFC Sudbury Reserves this Saturday.
