Youngsters from 3rd Wisbech Scout Group went camping at Wolferton over Easter

Over the Easter holidays, a group of 14 youngsters from the 3rd Wisbech Scout Group attended a camp at Wolferton.

While there, they put up their own tents, dining shelters and fire shelters, collected wood and cooked their food over an open fire and even squeezed in a trip to the beach and an ice cream.

The Cub and Beaver sections joined them for a day to join in these activities and the evening rounded off with more than 40 members from all three sections taking part in a traditional sing song around the campfire.

A spokesperson for the scout group said: “The weather was fantastic and everyone went home happy and tired after a fun-filled few days reconnecting with nature.”
