Young volunteers bring joy to residents at Rose Lodge care home in Wisbech
The Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech has been celebrating the contributions of two young volunteers who have brought joy to residents.
Amelia Secker is pursuing a diploma in Health and Social Care at the College of West Anglia in King’s Lynn and aspires to become a social worker, while Adrian Biel is a student of architecture at De Montfort University in Leicester who also does shifts at the home.
Both have fully embraced life at the care home, with residents, their relatives and staff all praising the positive energy and community spirit fostered by the pair.
Home general manager Meg Jones said: “We are incredibly proud of Amelia and Adrian for their dedication and the compassion they have shown to our seniors. Their presence has brought so much joy and has truly enriched the lives of our residents.”
