Young Fenland guitarists join classical concert

Three budding guitarists represented Fenland at a concert given in Cambridge at the weekend by the county’s finest young classical musicians.

Andrew Johnston, 10, Tilly Mae Lewis, 12, and 11-year-old Zachary Edwards, who are all students of Coldham-based guitar teacher Tom Bryans, joined the Cambridgeshire Community Music Festival to perform classical guitar numbers.

They performed in the Lightfoot Room of Old Divinity School, with Zachary playing Waltz by Dionisio Aquado, Tilly Mae performed Lotus Flower by Helen Sanderson, while Andrew played Lagrima by Fransico Terrega.
