Woman taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by car on Churchill Road in Wisbech

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash.

Police were called yesterday at about 4.20pm to Churchill Road in Wisbech to reports of a woman who had been hit by a car.

A spokesperson for the police said: “The car driver stopped at the scene and the woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn suffering from serious injuries.”

No arrests were made.
