Doddington Carnival was a success as crowds gathered for the parade
A day of fun was had by all as a village's annual carnival returned.
On Saturday, Doddington saw crowds gather to watch the popular parade travel through the village.
There was an array of floats in the procession including Wimbledon and Grand National ones.
After last year's carnival being stationary, this year the community saw the return of the moving lorry parade.
The prince and princess, Olly Guy and Francie Betts, cut the ribbon to start the parade from The Three Tuns Pub.
A spokespersonsaid: “The procession looked great and there were such creative floats.
“The afternoon was great too, the rain held off and everyone had smiles on their faces, having a fun afternoon.
“Well done to the carnival committee for another successful year.”
