The busy stretch of the A47 between Guyhirn and Wisbech has just reopened following an earlier crash.
The road was blocked for around an hour and half with drivers being urged to avoid the area.
However, it reopened just after 4.30pm after recovery of the six vehicles involved was complete.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: “We were called at 3pm to a multi vehicle collision on the A47 between Wisbech and Guyhirn.
"Six vehicles were involved - not seven as was originally put out on social media."
“Ambulances were in attendance and assessed injuries.”
