Two-year-old girl taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by car in March

A toddler has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a van.

Police were called to the collision on Henry Orbell Close in March at 8.20pm on Friday.

A two-year-old girl sustained serious injuries and was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.

An 18-year-old man from Montrose in Scotland was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop following the crash.

He has been bailed until September 14, when he will appear in court.
