He used a solid silver spade, which was given to Wisbech in Bloom by the late Diana Princess of Wales.
The tree itself was donated by Wisbech in Bloom and the friends and families of those who died.
Coggles Funeral Service donated a plaque, and a wreath was given by Janet & Jane Florists. Flowers depicting the four seasons.
Alan Wheeldon, Stanley Spinks, and Roger Rawson of Wisbech in Bloom completed the planting by erecting a secure cage around the tree.
