A spokesperson for the Foodbank, which is based at the Baptist Church, on Hill Street, posted a thank-you on their Facebook page.
They said: “We are overwhelmed by just how much the people of Wisbech care and donate. Your generosity is heartwarming. Whether you donated one tin or a trolley full, thank you for caring about those in crisis.
“Last month we gave out 3,657kgs of food – just over 10,000 meals. Thank you for any support you were able to give us, we really do appreciate it.”
