Staff at a Wisbech dental practice have raised hundreds of pounds for charity during a “super Saturday”.

The Oasis Dental Practice in Alexandra Road opened its doors on Saturday, February 27.

Up to 20 per cent of the dentists’ private earnings on that day were donated to charity.

Bridge2Aid, a dental charity which works in Tanzania, and Alzheimers were the charities chosen to benefit from the fundraising.

Practice manager Sarah Follen was delighted with the day’s success and the amount raised for the two good causes. She said: “We also gave all patients who attended on the day a free goodie bag.

“We ran a raffle and a children’s drawing competition.

“ We also had a coffee morning selling tea, coffee and cakes. “It was a great day with everyone enjoying their visit to the dentist. We raised £163.40 for each of the charities.” Staff and patients are pictured above at the event Picture: SUPPLIED
