Stretch of Wisbech to Long Sutton A1101 open again after serious accident

UPDATE: The road has just been reopened

PREVIOUSLY: Police are investigating a serious collision on the A1101 Sutton Road at the junction with Gypsy Lane today (Friday).

Officers were called at 11.53am with reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where she remains in a critical condition.

The road remains closed in both directions between the B1165 Little Ramper and B1169 Dowgate Road and diversions are in place.
