Police stop four vehicles for speeding while on patrol in Chatteris




Officers from the Police Rural Crime Action Team were out in a town carrying out speed checks.

On Tuesday, while in Chatteris, 75 vehicles passed them in total, and four were stopped for speeding –the highest being 38mph in a 30mph zone.

Three drivers were given words of advice, and one was given a Traffic Offence Report.

A spokesperson for the police said: “It was lovely to hear such positive feedback from the residents.”
