Fenland police catch speeding motorists in villages

Police officers caught speeding motorists during checks in a number of Fenland villages yesterday (Tuesday).
The force posted on social media that officers had carried out checks in a number of villages including Manea, Wimblington and Doddington.
They said that most people had kept within the 30mph limits, however two drivers were reported for travelling at speeds of 41mph and 44mph.
The post added: "Pleased to report most were within the 30mph limits, however a few failed to see the 30mph sign, our marked vehicle and high-vis jackets!"
