March vets celebrates 30th anniversary

A veterinary practice celebrated its 30th anniversary by opening the doors to the local community.

Staff at Amical Veterinary Centre in March enjoyed showing scores of people around their facilities.

The practice was founded by Elaine Stuttard in 1989 and has grown since then.

Head Nurse Vanessa Grange said:"Most people who visited our theatres were quite surprised with the amount of technology we have.

"The children enjoyed meeting some of the animals in our wards, which were staff pets."

Vanessa joined the practice in 1991 and has also seen a number of changes.

She said: "Technology has improved over the years and the support we can do in-house."
