A man is due to stand trial this autumn after pleading not guilty to the murder of a Wisbech woman.
Steven Stocks, 43, of North Brink, Wisbech, denied killing 53-year-old Laraine Rayner, whose body was found at a house in Mill Road in April, when he appeared before Peterborough Crown Court on Thursday.
However, he did plead guilty to a separate charge of preventing her lawful and decent burial.
His trial has been provisionally set to start on October 17 at Cambridge Crown Court.
