Man dies after crash in Long Sutton

A 70-year-old man who was airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car has now died.

Police say the man was hit by a car in an incident on Bridge Road, Long Sutton at 10.25pm on Saturday March 1.

A force spokesman said: “He was treated at the scene and airlifted to hospital, and sadly died at 6.30am this morning.

“His family is being supported by specially trained officers.

“Officers were deployed to the scene and carried out initial investigation work and that investigation continues.”

Witnesses should contact police on 101, quoting incident 93 of March 2 2025.
