“We manage large corporate events for clients like Ikea, Edinburgh University and The Law Society.
Nine 12 Hospitality, which is run by husband and wife, Hollie and Lee Summerscales, offers a bar serving a range of different drinks and is continuing to expand its business.
The Businessperson of the Year category was sponsored by Mapus-Smith and Lemmon and the award was for an individual who has made an outstanding personal contribution to drive their business forward over the past 12 months, demonstrating achievement and inspiration to others around them.
There were two other finalists in the running for this award: Charlotte Watson – Charlotte Watson Financial Planning and Shona Hamilton-Higgins – Lilac HR.
In announcing the award winner, Sharon said: “Over the course of just a few years, our winner has not only founded her business but has also propelled it to new heights, expanding into Europe and continuing to nurture its roots in the UK.
