Gallery: Annual Outwell raft race attracts the crowds as sun shines down
The sun shone on the annual Outwell Festival raft racing on Saturday with hundreds lining the banks to watch craft of all shapes and sizes take to the water.
The event, which was organised by Outwell Village Hall and Playing Field group, saw dozens of home made rafts including several with a pirate theme complete the course from the Crown Lodge Hotel to the Crown pub.
Revellers lined the banks of Well Creek to cheer on the competitors many of theme in fancy dress. There was also a chance to enjoy a sizzle sausage with a barbecue being served at the Basin.
Then yesterday Outfest continued with a number of bands playing at the village playing field including Gerry Ryan, CTRL-C, Big Phil and he Heartbreakers, Amazing Armadillos, Loose Rocket, Hydrobats and concluding with Skarma.
The field was also filled with stalls, bouncy castle and games for all to the enjoy.
