Barn blaze in Goosetree Road, Coates

Firefighters tackled an accidental barn fire on Sunday evening.

Crews from March, Whittlesey, Wisbech and Ramsey were called to a barn fire on Goosetree Road in Coates at 8.07pm.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they used hose reels and small gear to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by midnight.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
