Festive fun at March Christmas market

Crowds flocked to March on Sunday for the annual Christmas Market despite the bad weather.

With over 150 stalls there was lots for visitors to see and enjoy.

The event was officially opened by March Mayor Councillor Kim French and included fair rides and a winter wonderland in the Town Hall.

There was entertainment on the main stage in the Market Place, while Twenty20 Productions provided free family craft activities including rock painting and making Christmas tree decorations.

A shuttle bus helped provide rides into town to try to cut the number of cars.
