Fence and hedge fire in Wisbech was put out by crews this morning

A fire which had spread from a fence to a hedge was put out by fire crews early this morning.

At 6.22am, reports of a fire on Victoria Road in Wisbech were brought to the attention of fire crews in the town.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fence fire which had spread to a hedge. They returned to their station by 7.05am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
