Driver caught drunk in charge in Wisbech
A man has been arrested in a Fenland town after being found slumped at the wheel of his car and tests showed he was more than three times over the drink drive limit .
Posting on their Facebook page Fenland police said: "At 11.50am today neighbourhood officers were alerted to a concern for a man in his car at Old Market, Wisbech.
"Officers attended and found a 56 year old man slumped at the wheel. The man was breathalysed and provided a positive sample of breath.
"The man was arrested for being found drunk in charge of a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Police Investigation Centre at King's Lynn where he provided an evidential sample of breath of 114ugs in 100ml of breath. (The legal limit being 35ugs in 100ml of breath).
"The man remains at the Police Investigation Centre where enquiries continue.
