Crash on A141, near Wimblington, sees March fire crews use specialist equipment to free person

A crash along a main road saw firefighters release an injured person from a vehicle.

Fire crews from March were called to the A141 near Wimblington at 11.39am on Sunday, following reports of a collision.

Specialist equipment was used to free somebody from the accident site, who was then left in the care of ambulance teams.

Emergency services remained at the scene until about 1pm.
