Genuine police action in Chatteris after reports of imitating officers

Police say reports on social media of people imitating police officers were unfounded.

They say genuine officers visited an address in Chatteris in the early hours of Friday morning while investigating reports of a missing child.

A spokesman said: "We can confirm this was a genuine incident involving the search for a missing child, who was thankfully found safe and well."
