Long Sutton Co-op ram raided

Criminals ram-raided Long Sutton Co-op last night (Tuesday).

The West Street store is currently closed after the attack and police are at the scene.

It is not yet known whether the raiders gained entry or took anything.

Another Co-op store, in Crowland 18 miles away, was also targeted.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Coop said:"We use guidance from the police, cash machine providers and security experts to ensure we are following the latest procedures and we have numerous security measures in place in our stores.

“We’ll be working with Lincolnshire Police on their investigations and will aim to get both stores back open as soon as possible.”
