Cash machine attacked at Long Sutton Co-op
The Co-op store in Long Sutton had its cash machine attacked in the early hours of today (Wednesday).
The cashpoint at the West Street store was attacked around 2.40am. An hour later, criminals also attacked the machine at Crowland Co-op, 18 miles away.
A stolen Land Rover was used in the Long Sutton incident, causing the front window to be ripped out.
Police cannot confirm at this stage if any cash has been stolen. Around 4 am this morning officers found a green Land Rover on fire at Hundreds Road, near Crowland.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything they believe may be connected to this incident or any activity believed to be suspicious linked to the Land Rover to get in touch.
