It will offer a fresh twist and more choice alongside the home’s regular coffee mornings and its welcoming space for carers in the community and their loved ones who may be living with dementia.

Manager Meg Jones said: “The new memories and mocktails dementia café is a wonderful addition to our home’s existing community events and certainly puts a fresh twist on the regular coffee morning formula.

“It is dedicated to members of our local community who are carers for loved ones who are living with dementia.”

The tropical sessions will be taking place on the first Wednesday of every month from 10.45am to 12pm.

Ms Jones added: “If anyone is unable to make it on the day but would like to pop in for a tour and a cup of tea, our doors are always open, and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have.”
