Bubble tea shop ‘Just Poppin’ opens on Wisbech High Street
A new business has opened in the centre of town, bringing something different to the area.
Bianca Van Zyl, 30, and her husband opened the doors on Monday to their new venture of a bubble tea shop called Just Poppin, which is located at 17 High Street in Wisbech.
The couple thought it would be a good idea to open the shop as their children are “bubble tea fanatics” and are “always travelling to go buy the drink as there is not any in the near vicinity”.
Bianca also is a self-employed beautician in a rented room within A Touch of Class in the Horsefair after working at Top to Toe for 11 years, which means Just Poppin will be managed by her husband.
She said: “I absolutely love what I do so I will still be doing beauty treatments, and my husband and the staff will be manning Just Poppin’.
“Teens who are coming from school can pop around on their way home and it is a safe place where they can sit and chat with their friends while enjoying a bubble tea.”
She hopes the new business will encourage people who have never tried bubble tea before to try something new, and there will be a range of options to appeal to different tastes.
At the moment, Just Poppin’ is open seven days a week and Bianca and her husband will see what the most popular times are.
Bianca added: “It was good to see feet through the doors on the opening day and people enjoying their drinks.
“Hopefully, word will get around and people will come to see what Just Poppin' is all about.
“Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.
The shop is also doing loyalty cards for customers.
