Bonfire started near Wisbech home spreads inside property




Firefighters were called to a house in town to put out a bonfire that had spread inside.

Crews were called to the property on Heron Road in Wisbech at 5.53pm on Saturday.

Firefighters arrived to find a bonfire that had spread to a house. The crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 7.30pm.

Fire crews came to the conclusion that the blaze was accidental.
