A47 between Guyhirn and Wisbech reopens after multi-vehicle incident

The South Brink A47 is now open both ways between Wisbech and Guyhirn after being closed this morning after a serious accident.

Police, firefighters, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to the scene between the A141 at Guyhirn and the A1101 at Wisbech after a multi-vehicle collision which happened at around 6am.

A diversion route was in place and it was anticipated the road would be closed for a longer period than it eventually was.
