A17 blocked at Fleet

UPDATE: An accident on the A17 near Fleet Hargate has caused large queues towards Long Sutton this evening (Tuesday).
Ambulances and the Fires Service are at the scene of the collision, which has seen Washway Road blocked both ways near the Farmshop and Cafe.
Traffic is being diverted and coming back out further down the A17, before Gedney.
The accident was first reported at 6.08pm
PREVIOUSLY: Motorists are advised to avoid the A17 due to an accident.
The AA Traffic is reporting that A17 Washway Road, near the Anglia Motel, is closed both ways, and is affecting traffic between Holbeach and Long Sutton.
An increase in traffic has been seen down Fleet Road, heading into Holbeach.
