35-year-old arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent after man was stabbed on Church Terrace in Wisbech

A man has been arrested after a stabbing yesterday afternoon which left one person seriously injured.

Police were called at 12.25pm to reports of a man being stabbed on Church Terrace in Wisbech.

Emergency services including paramedics attended the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 35-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and is currently in custody.
