Police cordon to remain in place on Lynn Road in Walton Highway for ‘some time’ while investigations continue into discovery of human bones

Investigations continue after human bones were found near Wisbech.

Police were called to Lynn Road in Walton Highway, at 8.30 am on Sunday, following reports that partial human remains had been found by a member of the public.

Officers are currently carrying out their enquiries, and a cordon is still in place on a field on the edge of Lynn Road, which police say will remain for some time.

Officers investigating will obviously be aware of high-profile missing person cases in the area in recent years.
