Firefighters tackle two-vehicle blaze in Chatteris




Firefighters extinguished a blaze involving two vehicles in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

At 1.22am, a crew from Chatteris was called to a fire on Furrowfields Road in the town.

They arrived to find a blaze involving two vehicles and fencing. Wearing breathing apparatus, they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 2.20am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
